SERVICES

I work with artists and small organisations to document, organise, and sustain their work – especially when there isn’t much institutional support in place. My background is in media art preservation, but in practice, what I often do is help people make their work clearer, more structured, and easier to carry forward.

Documentation & Archiving

Helping artists and arts practitioners document their work in a way that actually makes sense later.

– Writing artwork descriptions and project texts
– Organising files, versions, and assets
– Structuring documentation (what to keep, how to keep it)
– Preparing materials for future exhibition, funding, or preservation

This is especially useful for media-based, process-driven, or evolving works.

Research & Writing

Turning messy ideas, conversations, or materials into something readable and usable.

– Artistic statements and concept mapping
– Research summaries and background texts
– Data analysis and visualisation
– Interviews and conversation-based documentation
– Translating complex or technical ideas into clear language

I’m used to working between academic, artistic, and practical contexts.

Project Logistics Support

Working alongside arts practitioners to help projects actually move forward.

– Project coordination and timeline planning
– Communication with collaborators, venues, or partners
– Supporting exhibition or event preparation
– Keeping things organised when projects get messy

I’m not just observing or writing – I’m happy to be involved in the process itself.

Creative Product Development

Exploring how artistic ideas can extend into small-scale products or physical forms.

– Character-based concepts (e.g. Red & Blue Birds, Crazy Whale-Dragon)
– From visuals to objects or prints
– Open to collaboration
– Ongoing experimentation

Workshops / Talks / Coaching

Small, informal sessions around documentation, media art preservation, or artist-led practices.

Can be adapted for:
– Artists and independent practitioners
– Small organisations or collectives
– Students or early-stage creators

How I Work

I usually work in a flexible, project-based way – sometimes short-term, sometimes ongoing, depending on what’s needed.

Some collaborations are very practical, others are more exploratory. It really depends on the project.
